If there is one thing you should know about House of the Broken Dragon it's that we appreciate art in its many forms -- textiles, performance, photography, nature, etc. Therefore, it was a natural choice for us to submit photos of one of our gorgeous models who is adorned with tattoos to Tres' Jolie Magazine's "tattoo issue."  "Tres' Jolie," which is French for "very pretty," is a magazine based out of Southern California whose, "...goal is to feature art/music in many forms." "SHOP LOCAL"

While running an online business has its obvious benefits, it does lack the personalization of voice and presence which only a face-to-face encounter can provide. In an effort to introduce ourselves and our product to our local community, House of the Broken Dragon took part in the Nokomis Art-Market's, "March Madness," in Nokomis, FL, this past month. This charming outdoor market--small in size but large in talent--was host to about 25 artists; showcasing everything from jewelry to pottery to metal-works to nature prints to kimonos! Being both a consumer and a lover of art, I've attended many "arts and crafts" markets over the years. Little did I know how time consuming and labor intensive preparing for a market can be until I participated as a vendor. From set-up to tear-down and everything in-between, it was completely...
